Full course description
This asynchronous course is intended for an audience of educators, trainers, and designers who are actively involved with offering instruction. It's meant to explain, justify and model effective best practices by complementing the strategies outlined in Kosslyn's "Active Learning Online" book. Learning modules guide participants through information transmission, active learning on content, active learning on application, and assessment and reflection. Upon successful completion of this course, instructors should be motivated to create and lead sound educational experiences based on the Science of Learning. A "Certificate of Completion" may be awarded to participants upon successful demonstration of critical knowledge acquisition and mastery of skills.
